As the children and parents await the PSLE results, it is a good time to reflect on hardwork and responsibility. Some years back, in the same PSLE paper, one of my boys in the studentcare told me it was a tough paper and got 212. He had been playing computer games often and in the playground. Another girl in the same paper told me it was a breeze. She had 238. On daily basis, the mum had grind her through different tutors. Thus, today’s result will be an affirmation of hardwork, responsibility and adaptability, as questions today are rephrased into different permutations.Guide the child to reflect, what are areas of strength to retain, and which cognitive areas to be changed. To all, Carpe Diem, Carpe mementoes. Keep on Keeping on.Hooha!!!

What are life skills?
What are learning skills?
Reflection is a life-skill. Look at your reflection in the mirror. Is your hair out of place? If your shirt dirty? Will you do nothing if you see something amiss?
Reflect on your character.Life-skills. Are you nice to your parents? Your siblings? Or do you go to them only when you need help? When you want a favour done? How about to your teachers? Are you nice to those selected few who praise you? How about those who scold you but genuinely want you to do well? How about your classmates?
